Dman, you're in luck. I post all my picks on my 50% Gains thread and update my full portfolio once a week when I can. Right now I am up +66% for the year. So I am slightly ahead of the monkey and a long way ahead of most brokers.

But I don't allow myself to carry more than 25% pure Internet stocks in my portfolio. Limits the upside but keeps me from losing half my net worth in a week or two when they crash.

I still think that playing RNWK from 30 to 90 was safer than hoping XSNI will run from 3 to 9.

But to each their own.

Could someone please tell me what's going on on this thread? What is all the fighting about?

Dman. I remember you from the B.com days (thats that auction site, not school), so I feel that my questions are best put to you. My apologies.

Anyhow, I almost made a sizable (and maybe dumb) investment (gamble) in this company today on a tip from, believe it or not, a Canaccord broker who says that this company is about to do an IPO on the Big Board. Based on the posts on this thread I'm at a loss as to how this could happen? It appears that the Company has, to my knowledge, not made an application to trade on the Big Board. Hmmm. I see references on this thread to other IPOs etc. but has anyone heard similar rumours? Is this realisitc? What is going on here? Is Lucent a key? What about AOL? Help me, please.
