Maybe we use terms in a different fashion, I take "ludicrous" to
mean "laughable", but I tend to think it's an over used term and
most people have placed a twist on it's connotation, I don't
know that there is much about the CIA that's laughable.

As for my claim of CIA knowledge being grandiose , you don't have
any idea of what your talking about but just shooting from the
hip. Among the tools of my trade is the ability to read lips,
however I doubt you realize half the ramifications of taht talent.

I resent your implications so I think it's best to
end this little dialog.
Had you played your cards without acting so arrogant you may
have discovered something worth writing about.

I have had a few acquaintances in intelligence, one of them in the CIA, others in military branches, and know that most of what is done is data analysis,

I am wondering why, with all this knowledge, that you don't seem to be aware that the Cox report is viewed by insiders at the National Laboratories to be extremist in rhetoric and politically motivated. There have been public remarks by former espionage officials (pre-Communism collapse) to this effect too, in fact I heard this guy comment about it just a week ago on a book review. He is quick to point out that it isn't deliberate, that paranoia is a sort of occupational hazard and that those reviewing this sort of material (politicians) are aware of this.
