Great post Ed!! The only thing that I would like to add, in response to the original question, is that this could still be "good" for SBX and still be a "bad" investment. The company was desperate when it came up with this deal and if it does not go through it might be lights out. So I would say that the rollback and deal is "good" for SBX but I would not step up to the plate.

edit...We are getting the heat out here now...yikes

ED - I once thought that also but The only three I have from rollbacks have all held their price.

none of the above have slipped below their all time lows or their 52 week lows of the 52 weeks prior to the splits.
