I think people get mixed up between product and distribution.

Who will have the best product (the offer)?
Who will have the best distribution ( the device)?

The marketing component will be so critical. Everyone will have an expectation for what a PC does or what a wireless phone does .

The challenge is to communicate the benefit on a "whole-new-device".
It is like finding out you could get ice from the oven.

mark, the market is attracting 'new/old' players, add WIND, imho
wireless will surpass cable, adsl and phone connectivity to WWW as soon as local calls are economical

no unsightly retina burn :)
probably two years away, at most
but this is bad news for the VC MBA's who think that site 'stickiness' rules and that we will be glued to the PC or WEBTV

add RIMM to your list, it is a sector indicator, not telephone, but wireless (2 way) and worth the dd

ynot :)
