I was speaking allegorically. For one who parades around clutching the OED to his breast, you sure can't pick up on the subtleties of the English language. I was in New York too, on and off during the late 70s and early 80s, then lived on the West Coast many years.

So you left NYC for "a place where honesty and word of honor still have meaning, where kindness isn't seen purely as weakness, and where the majority of people are still decent human beings."

Two questions:

1. Is there any work there for a lawyer? Doesn't sound like it!
2. Is it Biloxi, Mississippi? - hahaha...

I moved to New York in the 70s, spent my time on Wall Street, realized sooner than you have the intellectual and moral vacuity of NYC, and left for a place where honesty and word of honor still have meaning, where kindness isn't seen purely as weakness, and where the majority of people are still decent human beings.

Has it occurred to you that as a beholder, I might feel a tad abused by this posting?
