I hope there is some mild market reaction. Then, I can snatch up some good stocks at alot better prices then today.

I think the thing to do is to look beyond the Y2K event. Assuming that it is "not a problem", and assuming there is some anticipatory reaction preceding the event, I am looking for a reversal pop to the upside afterwards when the fear mongers are exposed and those that took money off the table because of it come running back.

That plus a good January effect, plus a general sense that world economics are turning upwards (maybe even in Japan) might send the markets upwards even more next Q1.
