<<He might have been able to arrange and execute all of that in time to get an "extra" column out, but after checking out the mountain of venomous email he received from all his fans among IDTC shareholders, he may have decided it was more important to get started forming some sort of response to the charges being leveled at him.>>

Something tells me this wasn't the first time HG has seen attacks (email) by shareholders.

Kevin,

Obviously you don't read thestreet.com on a regular basis, or you wouldn't have made so many errors in just one paragraph. I suggest you refrain from trying to correct me unless you have a clue next time.

For starters, it wouldn't do to modify the old article once it was up (and at 3:30am Pacific time I dare say Greenberg wasn't yet awake). Anyone who read the non-updated version would surely miss out on any changes after the fact. So the only other choice would be to publish an "extra" article to say that he had called back.

For starters, who cares about Pacific time? Herb lives in NJ and works at TSC offices on Rector Street in lower Manhattan. NYC is on Eastern time, Kevin, always has been.

Second, TSC modifies stories all the time after they are published! They fix the errors and put the following at the end of the story:

As originally published, this story contained an error. Please see Corrections and Clarifications.

The link to Corrections explains what change they made to the original story. Just go to TSC and click on the Corrections link and you will see lots of changes to stories.

So your post is both wrong and lame, and Herb/TSC was wrong not to correct his story earlier.
