How about people who use the plugins @guard or intermute? I'm using the former, and I
rarely even SEE a banner ad, much less click on one. The websites load faster, too.

With all your money you could have cable or DSL. In the event that is not available in your area, put in a T1 to start. The load speed will not be an issue. I know that from experience.
