EDMONTON, July 19 /CNW/ - The Churchill Corporation is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Stuart Olson Construction, has been awarded a major project in the lower mainland of British Columbia. Morguard Investments has entered into a design assist construction arrangement with Stuart Olson to complete a major expansion and renovation of the Coquitlam Centre Mall. The expansion includes 300,000 square feet of new retail space anchored by a large new Zellers store, which will replace its existing store in the mall. Significant renovations to other areas of the mall will present a completely new look in keeping with changing retail trends. Architectura is spearheading the design. The expansion phase has a value in excess of $30 million. The project will commence immediately with completion in the spring of 2001. The Churchill Corporation is a diversified construction corporation listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange under the symbol CUQ.
