Ah- you see I don't particularly like the Marx Brothers- i find much of their humor rather cruel. Although I acknowledge they were comic geniuses. I prefer Chaplin. I did not really like the Full Monty- I thought it was highly over-rated. I enjoyed watching it by I would not watch it again- and it has lessened on me with the passage of time (as opposed to having frown on me).

Some of this is no doubt a male/female thing. Many of the movies I really love are "women's movies". Oh btw- a HUGE favorite of mine is Twelfth Night with Ben Kingsley in it. WHAT a wonderful movie that is. I own it and watch it often. I love having good Shakespeare on tape- it is like having the Globe in my living room. And the language is so wonderful, to hear it, by some of the best actors in the world, over and over - as much as I want- it's a bit like being in heaven- and I can eat ice cream at the same time.
