You both over looked something. Jesus directed the woman to sin no more. He never said prostitution is ok. He judged prostitution as a sin he found the prostitute remorseful and repentant and since he knew she was giving her life to God, he directed her to go and sin no more. He also was using this incident to direct the multitudes to repent for their own sins. He was in no way condoning any of it or suggesting that we should just phogettabottit, Right? Where do you get the idea that tolerance means the same thing as not to judge.

I'm not going out looking for any to dispense with. I just wanted to illustrate how much I detest their lifestyle. I will get back to you soon with chapter and verse from the New International Version of the Bible which I read. It sats the same things as the King James version but in modern language. And I said modern, not politically correct. TD

The condemnation is indeed included in the OT, but unlike many of the proscriptions listed in the OT, the proscription against homosexuality is almost word for word transferred from the OT to the NT. Homosexuality is most certainly condemned by the Scriptures.

By Jesus' day homosexuality was rampant amongst the pagan leadership. By no means did Jesus have to mention homosexuality specifically for the same reason He did not have to mention bestiality. It was roundly acknowledged by the remarkably family oriented traditional Jewish people, as an utter abomination.
