Wow, that's a major screw job! 60 bid vs. 202 bid. Obviously they need to set you right. If they can't do it, maybe they'd at least let you transfer your old calls to another broker who's not such an idiot. You might call some other brokers and see what they can do.

Clark-What is supposed to happen to options when there is a spin off? When the stock split, so did my options, and all was well.

Clark and Engineer,

OT.

Another sour case on TD Waterhouse. I think I better sell all my holdings on TD Waterhouse. Well. TD has made me a lot of money so far. I really have a mixed feelings to make such a decision.

Best,

Brian H.

Clark,

The issue your facing originates at the option exchanges. In May, June and July, the exchanges "roll" the LEAPS which expire in the following January into ordinary options. It isn't something Waterhouse has any control over. However, there should be options that are equivalent to the LEAPS you originally purchased. Looking at the option symbol, I believe QAA is the root symbol for the options with LWIN included, and QAQ is the root symbol without LWIN. So it looks like the right series. You'll have to verify if the you have the correct strike and number of contracts to reflect the split.
