I worked backwards to get my date: Lockdown - Oct 1 J6P is real smart and is planning to get out 1 month in advance - Sept 1 Smart money is smarter and gets out earlier - August 1 Runup in the earnings season to get everybody happy - mid-July In all seriousness, thanks for your timeline. No reason to watch Spinger when we've got the lunacy of the market to entertain us. -g- Oh, BTW....I don't know if any of the really really long termers who have been investing and who plan on being invested for the next 10-20 years will do much about trying to time this market....I think they'll just sit tight,,,so I still doubt BK is a reality. Retirement funds will continue to be funded and they'll keep on partying....they might get nervous,,,,the market might gyrate,,,but they'll just try to sit tight. Think about it...know any of your friends who are serious long term investors who have even given a second thought about leaving this market for the y2k? I don't know of any. mike
