- if MSFT loses the Bristol case - that will be tantamount to the Fat Lady singing

- the Clintonistas would be jumping for joy

- & stock price would tank big time

- basically, I'm saying, that this case never should've gotten this far - it's totally without merit

Your right, the INTC miss has ZERO impact for MSFT. It just highlights that AMD is doing a good job giving INTC some competition. Every AMD or INTC box sold has a MSFT license.

Long run this is healthy for ensuring that x86 architecture remains the price/performance leader versus other chips ... further cementing MSFT the commericial OS lead for x86.
