I'm not assuming anything, mm. I'm waiting to find out. I just can't accept good use as an article of faith, agnostic that I am.

GlobalStar sees Mexico start in Q499

MEXICO CITY, July 13 (Reuters) - Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd, a New
York-based provider of mobile satellite communications, plans to enter the Mexican market
in the final quarter of 1999, a spokesman said on Tuesday.

Lauro Diaz, chief executive of Globalstar's Mexican arm, said the firm expected to obtain
permission to operate in Mexico, as competitor Iridium World Communications
(Nasdaq:IRID - news) did on July 6.

''Globalstar is very close to also obtaining those same licenses,'' told journalists.

Diaz said the company would charge about $1.80 per minute for satellite calls in Mexico and forecast it would have 150,000
users by 2003.
