If it were based in a country where I could easily evade taxes, I guess the answer is a resounding "yes"

If this is allowed to continue, within 1 year every single internet company will host it's servers within the cayman islands.

And no doubt, once the major countries of the world see all their tax revenues from the e-commerce revolution drying up, we'll have to invade the island.

"China has tremendous potential. But it remains to be seen if the #17 portal operator can fill the needs in China and convert their limited eyeballs into profits."

Of course it does, just as several years ago it remained to be seen if AOL could make money.

It's amusing how many people are pointing out how few eyeballs CHINA has, how poor their connections might be, how low they rank (17th), blah blah blah. That's why they're cheap right now, kiddies! How much do you think you'll have to pay when they are Number One, with a billion eyeballs and billions in advertising revenues flooding into their coffers?

Go ahead, wait until everything is seen that remains to be seen -- and THEN pay the price! LOLOL! I bought in today at 47 1/2. Five years and many splits from now, today's naysayers will be saying: "But who had any idea that the Net would spread so quickly through Asia? That Net-computers would become practically free? That satellite Net access would spread so quickly throughout Asia? That huge international corporations would rush to advertise on CHINA?" Go ahead, wait until that day that everything becomes apparent to everyone -- and then I'll sell you my shares! LOLOLOLOL!!
