Thank you. What you say makes perfect sense.

Your earlier message said FBCO and CIBC stepped out of
the way under buying pressure.

This would suggest to me the following situation: they don't
have tons of shares to unload, and they are probably not
shorting (because if they were, why not let it ride up to
wherever and then short?). The only remaining possibility
is, given their tendency to repeatedly hit the ask without
letting it ride up is that they don't want the price to go
up.

Put that together with the fact that OI at strike 55 keeps
climbing (I check each night) and you now have a motivation.

Its very interesting. We'll never know for sure, but its
important to look for relationships.
