Mark, sounds like linear fiber optics that ORTL has been doing to link base stations for years. Doesn't sound like anything new to me. It is nothing like the potential that the micronode technology HLIT is testing in Salt Lake could have on the whole telecom industry.
It seems to me that it is a short haul linking system using spread spectrum technologies.
