Gregory B. Barnett, president of EnerCom, Inc., said, ''As the world moves at a blinding pace, oil and natural gas help fuel invention, innovation and industry. The Oil & Gas Conference offers growth- and value-oriented investors opportunities to learn how 26 bellwether oil and gas companies are providing the power for an ever-expanding global economy.''

C.W. MacLeod, principal with Kirkpatrick Energy said, ''We see this as an opportune time to invest in the energy sector. Investors are still able to find energy companies near their net asset values and have the potential to participate in incremental upside value through drilling projects, both development and exploratory. Look like a nice GOM discovery. I'm a little confused by the news release's description of the interest in the well held by PQUE. They say 5% working and net revenue interest. It is my understanding that a net revenue interest is not the same as a working interest ( the net revenue interest being net of all royalties and other burdens)-so I'm not sure whether they have a 5% W.I> or a 5% net revenue interest. Maybe my understanding of the terminology is wrong. It looks to me like they have a 5% W.I. as the total of the other W.I's is 95%. In any event--good news.
