Considering what a monster Cisco is, future acquisition of the lead technology within the group would seem the logical approach. Outsourcing their R&D. CSCO could absorb F5, Alteon & Foundry with their loose change. More critical in the short term, FFIV seems to have completely fallen off the infrastructure sector strength. RBAK +11 1/2, BRCD +9, JNPR +10 1/2 & CMTN +13. FFIV just +3 on microscopic volume. The hiring of StreetConnect has so far proven to be a major mistake. They have done absolutely NOTHING. The street holds zero perception of F5. We may be their only source of marketing IMHO.
