Hal, for me to attempt to lower my expectations down to two points profit and one to one and a half point loss the trading costs must get below a half point ...

When I open a position with a market buy and/or close it with a market sell ... one full point is realistic and at that point I must seek more than a two point profit goal ...

Now, this doesn't mean that I will take my 2 points blindly and run but most of the time my trailing stop will get me out there or close to it so I can maintain profitability .....
I position traded for a lot of years and the risk exposure is too great for me now ... at my time of life and at my asset allocation.

The scalping on 5 contract at the 10 buck range of commish only requires 12.5k account size ....
and I really like that for I can calculate the ROI ...... ggggg

Of course, Peter opened an account with the folks and they changed the rules on him AFTER .... raised the $2500 per contract amount ....
I'm still checking out some brokers ......

My highly limited trades with the large has left me in limbo (not knowing if I were filled, if I were covered, if I were stopped out, etc ..)
I've personally watched PatrickCelticWarlordCheiftan and KING of the LARGE remain very calm in the face of this uncertainity and say ...
"well, I 'know' they got it done .... "
I was climbing the walls just watching and listening to him trade on a cell phone and a Bloomie screen from CNBC .....

NOT FOR ME ........LOL
