He was high up at Intel for a while and then president of nexgen. Nexgen was sold for $500M and he had a bunch of equity. So my guess is that there is something more to it. Regards, Kash.

By your argument Bill Gates and a bunch of others would have resigned long time ago. You don't quit if you are on the verge of overtaking Intel in the x86 CPU performance. You don't see (insert Bill Gates/Steve Ballmer/Larry Ellison/Scott McNealy/Steve Jobs/etc.) hanging it up because they've got a few bucks.
