If I want the Sony R/W capacity you have, I assume that Dell will know what is compitable with my system, even though I purchased my system in person from the factory store.(I have never phoned Dell.) I assume my Inspiron laptop will drive this device; what plug in port does it take up? (If you are busy, please ignore this request---your post got me excited....)
