Jozef, I think that it's great that NSM is up a buck today (3.6%). But on a day when flash memory seller SNDK was up 14-5/8 (26%), a buck isn't all that much.

Let's say that NSM lucks out and sells 25M Geodes in the first two years at maybe $50 each. If they net $20 on each that would be more than they ever did with CYRX but it still adds up to just $500M ... a measly 10% of their current market value.

And then what? Two years from now you can be SURE that INTC will have chips that are twice as fast, run cooler, and consume less juice.

NSM's analog business may be going well but who is to say that it will grow given that more than one Asian semi maker has their eyes and fabs centered on such opportunities. NSM has zip credit and small-money cash to compete with the mega-Asians.

So ... NSM has a shot at adding back $500M to the $1B they lost in the past few years buying CYRX and doing everything else wrong. With some luck, they might even fulfill their own projections and actually make a penny or two within in some future quarter.

If somebody could tell me why the ability to lose money left and right and finally make up a small part of those losses makes a company like NSM worth major money ... I would be most interested in hearing the details.

Craig
