Hi All..... Sorry for the delay in respomse :-) But this might help something :-)

The POSSIBILITY that SYD could do this, with NO advance warning
whatsoever, is precisely what would cause SYD
shares to reflect a significant portion of the value of Sideware Corp.

Anyway, here's an example of a company that is doing exactly what I've
described. (I'm not trying to hype MDRE, just using
them as an example. They are, IMHO, not an impressive business.) The
following is from an MDRE PR issued either
yesterday or today (I forget which).
-----------------------------
"Further to news in Stockwatch on July 23, 1999, Medical Resorts
International intends to declare a dividend in specie
consisting of three million common shares in the capital of
International Biotech Corporation to the corporation's shareholders
of record as of Sept. 21, 1999.
The dividend in specie will be distributed on a pro rata basis to the
shareholders of the corporation. Medical Resorts
International is the controlling shareholder of International Biotech
Corporation and the proposed distribution represents
approximately 36 per cent of the issued and outstanding common
shares of International Biotech Corporation."

Dora -- Please feel welcome to copy this to SI if you wish. If you do, give
my best to KrisCo, who is doing a fabulous job of
stimulating discussion on SI re: "tiny Sideware!"

Best regards,
