*OT* speaking primarily of options market makers. They are in the business of hedging and making money from the spreads, not in taking risk. Ah ha! Doesn't that get us back to the MMs as the culprit for making our tech stocks trend down right before options expiration? So if this is true it is the Options MMs that are doing the selling, perhaps as a way of making all those options expire worthless, don't you make more money selling options that expire worthless?
