No, I haven't been to the Blue Ridge mountains. The songs and poetry written about the region make me wish I had though. I like the Colorado Mountains and have lived in the mountains. It is a nice culture, except for the ski resorts. I was just making fun of the Californicated East Slope culture of Colorado. There is also a West slope culture too if you like living next to the mountains. Much different than the East slope.

I have also lived in mountain country in the Pacific North West. Beautiful, and unknown by anyone but the logging companies.
