Good question! Perhaps the click rates are much lower. I hear they want to make the banners show advertising related to the sites subscribers surf to. For instance, they could offer a cheap tickets banner when someone goes to expedia. That would seem to be more valuable than an average banner! Also, check out the old thread if you haven't already - there are a few interesting posts.

Something here confuses me. If they have 830 MILLION impression per months, and the average rate per CPM is now about $30/CPM (maybe $6-12 run of network), then they should be raking in the cash. But they're not. What's missing from this picture?

Dumb question....What exactly is CPM?

EDIT....Just did a little research and figured out that it meant cost per thousand impressions. This link quotes a rate of $40/CPM.
