"Cheers!!!"

thanks--and the best to you.

i lucked out but i do not intend to write any more calls for a while. the premiums are still too low and it is a risky strategy if you don't want to lose your stock as teflon recently stated.

i can achieve a hedge against the bear with a lot less stress by continuing to buy puts with some of my unrealized profit. the puts are not on stocks that i own but those that i feel will under perform such as peoplesoft, Glenayre Technologies Inc. and filenet.

my hope is that if microsoft, cisco, sunw, lu and ge fall on hard times, the companies on which i hold puts will fall even further.

if i were to add to my microsoft position, i would buy the leaps.

regards
