Yes Fred. The article appeared around seven weeks ago. It basically looked at the new breed of online broker -- those offering direct access. The reporting was much more ambitious than the final product, which was a page and half at most. The only pieces that have really looked in depth at what is going on among direct access brokers in the last six weeks are: thestandard.com moneycentral.msn.com ragingbull.com All of these journalists have written about online investing before, which lends some credibility to what they write. They aren't shameless boosters or a single disgruntled customer, just people looking for the truth. You can search the archives of the media outlets that these journalists write for to get a feel for the depth of their knowledge.
