See, I told ya there'd be another take. PW is a dos witch and I don't get most of the stuff she says but I have hopes. In win98 if you go to Display Properties in Control Panel (or right-click your desktop and choose properties) and go into Screensavers you'll see a settings button. This takes you to your power saving controls where you can set schemes for turning off your monitors and HDD's while your computer is idle. It's a great idea but it would be perfect if I could get the fans to go off too (then there would be zero noise). Well, in 20 years it won't matter because there won't be any moving parts (if indeed man is still alive). w
