i think it has to do with the fact there were options with strike prices of 50, 150 and possibly 250 (pre split). this would screw up the symbols since j could not stand for all three strikes at the same time.

as for your lack of appreciation, six months have passed and the implied volatility has decreased. you still have almost 18 months left for the stock to appreciate.
