The story, as I recall, is that he made his fortune in bootlegging during prohibition.

Uncle Ted should have had the ride 30 years ago. A&E did a special on the Mary Jo death. He spouted 4 different stories and the Kennedy money stopped any autopsy. TV treated him like a hero for her death. It was like praising Ted Bundy for being for women's rights.
