Great advertising ideas, your hired please show up in Roy Monday morning at 8am sharp. : )

Just a couple of comments about hard drives. The most frequently failed component in a system is the hard drive. People that talk about the requirement of storage being satisfied by hard drive sizes don't have a clue, but sooner or later they will because, I can guarantee that every hard drive does fail at some point and about the time it does is the time that you wish you had your data backed up. We sell a fair number of Zip drives to consumers that experience hard drive failure. BTW Windows has been the culprit as often as not when it comes to HD crashes.
FYI most hard drives have a 3 year manufacturers warranty.

I'm not so sure that Y2k back-ups would necessarily hurt sales going forward, while I agree it has the potential to I tend to think that a lot of Y2k back-ups will be archived on disks for safe keeping.

Is the Zip drive that you refer to the one purchased many moons ago ?

Regards
Reseller

It would be good to increase sales of disks and drives because of Y2K or some other reason. Besides those sales, there will be more proselytizers for IOM and more people to trade disks with. People who buy drives may buy more disks. People who use disks, may continue to use them and buy more.
