If AOL does not rally into earnings release, then I am going to bet the farm that it will pop on earnings ...

Vendit, with icq being one of the largest user bases on the net, one day AOL will learn to tap into the potential revenue stream by having it lead more directly to types of e-commerce, and to generate advertising dollars. A brilliant investment for a mere 300 million in my opinion.

ICQ has grown at a phenomonal rate as a result of Mirabilis, and now AOL approaching it with a hands off method, and allowing users to decide what they wanted most. It has grown and attracted a large following, great for attracting users to other AOL sights, just important to find a way to integrate it without sacrificing the integrity of how it was developed, and to retain the loyal users.

I think that the current e-mail service that they now have and other links that can provide advertising seems to be a good method to start to develop advertising revenue.

Does anyone else have any comments?
