My husband said that. He quit flying lessons because he said he decided it was more important to live, than to learn how to fly. I heartily concurred with that decision, even though I had given him the flying lessons as a present since flying had always been his dream. Small planes are ALWAYS crashing. Professionals are the way to go. No weekend flyer is as safe as a good professional pilot with all the experience- and experience is what counts. I feel sorry for the parents of Kennedy's wife and HER sister. The Kennedys have always been stupid risk takers- but now these poor folks have lost TWO of their girls. Stupid stupid stupid. And now their will be eulogies when this ought to be held up as a lesson on hubris.
