You obviously think Brinker is some kind of charlatan

Not at all. I respect him a great deal. However, I realize he is only human (and has trouble admitting when he's made a bad call). I just feel sorry for the multitudes who follow him blindly, refuse to expend the energy to do their own due diligence and thinking, and then, when they lose their money, refuse to accept responsibility for their investment mistakes caused by their blind faith in another (necessarily fallible) human being.

Bob has much to offer but should be taken with a grain of salt. If you spent any time learning about the markets (outside of listening to Bob), you would already know that.

best...

Re: The prerequisite for posting here is a fundamental respect for Brinker. Also, another prerequisite is to listen to the show.

Respectfully disagree, my friend. Based upon my review of the Terms of Use for posting on Silicon Investor, here are the relevant prerequisites for posting on any SI thread:

You agree not to use the service for illegal purposes or for the transmission of material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortious, improper or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes or may infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another

I take no position on whether any particular individual has violated such covenants. I do however acknowledge an attempt by the originators of this thread to establish more restrictive parameters for posting here. However I am at a disadvantage in determining whether said thread-specific restrictions have been violated, since I have never been able to read through more then about one-third of these additional restrictions before realizing that I could never intentionally abide by the exclusionary nature of any of these "supplemental" rules, nor do I believe that they have the force and effect of a duly authorized Silicon Investor Terms of Use.

As far as I am concerned this is a free and open thread to all posters, regardless of their attitude about Bob Brinker, subject only to the Silicon Investor Terms of Use.
