Juan, No, I am not comfortable being in Fonx, but then I wasn't comfortable in Rambus or just about any other stock I've been in either. This is a volatile market, and has been since techs became popular, then unpopular, then popular again, and I love the techs. I have been in Fonx about three years, and have done my share of averaging down, so I have a lot of shares now. I do not like the way the co. has been mismanaged. They don't give a hoot about shareholders, and I don't like that either. What does excite me is the fact that if a great co. like Lernout is buying technology from Fonx, that says something. General Magic also has Fonx technology, and that is a good co. also. I do not disagree that there is a lot about the co. that is questionable. The future is in talking and listening computers. Do you realize how many people don't have pc's because they can't type, and so they are intimidated by them? The price is no longer a problem. Even the poorest of families has a tv! If keyboards were not necessary, pc's would be as common as telephones and tvs. Yes, this stock is very risky. Yes! They are out of favor with the street, and have had lots of bad press. Yes. If this co. goes defunct, I have lost money. On paper, I am losing money with it now, but I don't usually sell when the stock tanks. I wait it out until it comes back up, and if you get yourself a chart book that has long-term charts, you can see for yourself that it happens! Stocks look dead for two or three years, sometimes much longer, then wham, they go up. Look at lots of charts for yourself. I may have to wait a long time to make money with Fonx. (But I don't think so) If you want to make money in a year or two, Fonx may not be it, who knows? I don't have that crystal ball either. When you buy very low, you often have to wait a long time to make money. Your money is tied up, and some people don't like that, but it's tied up in a savings acct, or money market, or CD, or just about any other place you care to put your money. You can't get too emotional, or too impatient, because you will sell out of fear or anger, or frustration. That's how you lose money, it seems to me. It's a waiting game, and as long as the co. gives me reasons to wait, I wait. I'm not saying this is what you should do, but it works for some. Since you are still involved in this thread, it seems to me you have not resolved your loss, and you are looking for answers of some kind to give you consolation you did the right thing by selling your shares?
