Unlike Kosovo which was a big yawner for the markets this will be a major event and Asian followed by other emerging markets should get hit very hard and at these multiples the US markets would also take a dive.

Or maybe it will merely provide for a "health restoring" 10-15% correction across the board and pull those sentiment numbers down into extreme pessimism, thus giving more staying power to this mother of all bull markets.

You betcha. Could it be deju vu all over again? It was just a year ago that the markets were riding high until problems in Asia (and Russia) scared us into the August correction. Once again we have a market just looking for a reason, any reason, to go south.

A week ago I posted some stellar y-t-d returns from Asian funds and was kicking myself for missing the boat. Now I think I'll just stay ashore in the good ol' U.S. of A.
