Steven,
Hi!!!
WHAT YOUR EYES MISSED........

You know quite well what our first trip to Austin did for our confidence...and, I'm sure you'll be appreciative of what I will attempt to detail here...First, I missed you and Drew more than you'll know...that obnoxious Patrick was unbearable!! :o) Couldn't get a word in edgewise at the Parmer Server Facility...Our guide (Kraemer) was basically the person responsible for the set-up ...an excellent teacher and Patrick took advantage of his knowledge...Seriously, Patrick had a machine gun set of questions where information flowed throughout the tour....In one brief sentence it would be safe to say DELL has things well in control...the plant is planning on setting up a station prior to the first assembly station where the quality of the products coming in will be fully tested...thus eliminating any contamination from the actual assembly process...Also, this will solve many of the "disputes" between manufacturer and DELL...DELL will soon be instituting this at all their facilities in an effort to continue their pursuit of quality control...
Also, we were told of the "footprint" of Parmer which is in the works...WOW!!!! Guess DELL doesn't plan on being stagnant any time soon... :o) On the low end of ethics...we were told that DELL configured all these facilities to be identical thus saving construction costs from the architect on down...yet, our "neighbors" in Houston tried to hire the architect or contractor... :o)
Steven.....EVERYONE was impressed...considering we saw this in the construction stage last year...Steven...you'd have trouble recognizing the area...DELL IS BUILDING EVERYWHERE.. and more to follow...

BUY MORE DELL....

Best, Kemble
