Michael, I think everyone's advice should be taken with a grain of salt (is a "grain" a homeopathic dose as defined in FDA regulations?). Whether one is long of short any investment, so many things need to be taken into consideration - and ultimately the only person responsible for that investment is the person who pushes the button. Go Qualcomm !

Michael,

Please excuse me for interjecting in your flame of Dr. Epstein, but I interpret the statement that you copied from his profile as "Please don't trade based on my advice because I don't want to feel responsible for your trades." His statement also admits fallibility, which I respect, because my caution flag immediately goes up when anybody claims to never be wrong about stocks.

Further, one's credibility in their profession is completely separate from their credibility as an investor or trader. I'm an electrical engineer and have the ability to design circuits. Does that mean that I can correctly predict the stock price of every publicly traded circuit maker 100% of the time? Of course not. However, my background is such that I can factually answer questions about circuit design and others can decide if they want to use that information as part of their due diligence to make a trading decision.

Dr. Epstein has provided facts and substantiated opinions about GumTech based on his professional experience as a doctor, his medical education, and former member of the staff at the New England Journal of Medicine. If you disagree with any of his opinions, so state them and why. Your attempt to discredit him by taking a statement from his profile out of context is one more example of the shallowness with which many of you justify your trades.

I have read this thread for two weeks and have seen absolutely nothing posted by "Bill Wexler" that substantiates his allegation that the company's management is perpetrating a stock promotion fraud or that Zicam is a scam. Anybody who accepts these allegations without questioning why is putting their own capital at risk over an anonymous alias who has an economic motive for creating a tainted story.

It sure is a fine day.
