Anthony,

Like everyone, I feel great sorrow for the Kennedy and Bessette families, but are you quite wrong about the airplanes.

What happened, unfortunately, is that JFK Jr. committed a terrible act of arrogance and stupidity by leaving NJ as late as he did without proper experience in VFR flight. He was not qualified to fly in those conditions, had only recently purchased the aircraft, and he knew that he was cutting it close in those respects. He killed his wife and sister taking a foolish risk. Whether or not you ever fly in a small plane is certainly your choice, but the lesson here is to be VERY careful to fly only with experienced, mature pilots at the controls.

I liked John Kennedy a lot and wish this had not happened.

I hope you get twice the years you are looking for.
