He was the one that began the acceleration of our participation in a foolish war that was never declared. Don't get me wrong. I greatly admire the men and women who served in our armed services and was appalled when the American public treated them so shabbily when they returned. I don't respect Kennedy's escalation of the war and abhor what that snake LBJ did. TD
