Just to let you know what a "low life" Dale Baker is-- I called him on some ludicrous postings he made and in his flustration he reported me to SI and had my posting privileges suspended for 3 days with no explanation. For your info here is one of his rediculous posts about you : Message 10526136

Some thoughts . . . .

25 IPOs to be released this week.

ipocentral.com

I think the 3 week old IPOs will do better than the new IPOs, though. . . . then starting about Wednesday. . . we start dropping, slowly and steadily as predicted. . .

Of course I am still selling my long termers and plan on only holding small positions, sleepers and momentums. I think that even the very small undervalued plays and pennies will decline over the next 50 days. . . a few still have pending news, which make them worth holding somewhat.

But I have already sold many big stocks recently. . . .like INTC, T, MOT, CNET, etc. . . hoping to sell DCLK today into strength on earnings. . .and LU, ATHM and some others tomorrow.

It becomes a defensive play similar to the one in mid April. . . where we focus on volatility and steer away from long-termers and high-fliers. . . and expect life to pop into forgotten areas of the market. Last time we saw this unexpected peculiar jump into cyclicals. . . since then forgotten. . . .so it was a temporary resting place for money. . . . . what will be the next one? Cyclicals again? Or what about gold?

It looks like the money has to go somewhere. . . .and that investors are not satisfied with keeping it on the sidelines. So stay alert to sector rotation and report any irregularities.

One last thought. . . . don't be the LAST one out the door. We are not in the beginning stages of a sell-off. . . . regardless of what the Dow average says. . . .we are well into it. . . . and by Wednesday or Thursday, it will be very clear to everyone.

Remember that we are buyers beginning the week before Labor Day and continuing to when the frost is on the pumpkin. But we need to first determine WHICH companies are worth holding into the winter rally.
Which one of the Portals? E-Commerce? Inet Services? Advertisers? Health nets? Auctions? Brokerages? Banks? Security? Hardware? Software?

One thing is certain. . . . whichever companies we choose should have one foot firmly into broadband and the Next-Generation Internet. In my opinion, that is where the big plays for 00 will be.
