Chip I have seen that Elliades piece that references to the research of Steve Puetz. I do know that the upcoming eclipses are at the end of a Lunar Saros Cycle which is a 18 year and 11 day Lunar cycle of earth moon eclipses. There has been some research done, by Robert Hitt among others that indicates that statistically you have a higher percentage of extreme volatility, severe market declines. As well as violent warfare occurring in these time windows.
