Datek has few glitches sometime, which is common with most online brokers now a day. However, I think it's still superior compared to Etrade and Schwab. The buy/sell price at Datek is, most of the time, better than the other two. At Etrade and Schwab, you almost always have to buy at "ask" and sell at "bid", while the transactions are seemingly done at "last" at Datek. That 1/8 or even 1/16 points, sometime comes handy when you are trading 500 or 1000 shares at a time.

MB is great, I assume, but when it's down, it's only as good as anyone else when they are down. When Datek is up and running, its execution is as fast as I want it to be.

Life is not usually fair, since people post only when they have complaints, but not much on the compliment . That why you see most of the dark side of Datek when reading this thread.
