Navamasas' are The Ninth Harmonic. The subdivision of the Natal Chart, or shodasavargas. Their Interpretation usually involves Rulership systems rather than Aspects. Aren't you glad you asked? The "duad" may be the "Dwad". I was afraid to ask about that one, so I looked it up myself. It's from Sanskit, need that as well? As I read through it, I would venture a guess that it would confuse the dwad out of just about anyone. Suffice to say, the use of dwads is similar to that of decanates.
