I listened to the conference and was fairly well impressed. The CEO talks pretty fast so I did my best on taking some notes. Here are some of the things that caught my attention and may contribute well to further growth of the company.

*3,000 plus new customers added during the quarter

*1% increase in margins to 91%

*Company currently has 77 million in cash

*They encounter a competitor in less than 1% of their sales.

*One case where they did have competition was in winning the Dell.com contract.

*About 75% of their customers so far have signed up for maintenance contracts. Good source of continuing revenue.

*Another competitive win was Navisite (one of the CMGI companies). In trials though, Navisite has large server clusters (one cluster had 32 servers) and no one else had a product that would scale that high.

*Both Dell and Navisite have fully deployed Webtrends solutions on their servers. Meril Lynch has as well.

I was impressed in the call that Webtrends just doesn't seem to have any competition. Even in the two I just mentioned, I got the impression from the call that there really wasn't much competition.

Hope this was helpful for anyone who didn't get to listen to the cc.
