I saw on the Q thread that you stated institutional money will be flowing out of MSFT tomorrow and into QCOM. Is it then your opinion that the Q4 earnings report will cause a selloff in Softie?

...once MSFT dominates the O/S, it has a "gold-plated" cash cow, with *no competition*, and that functions as a launch pad to further revenue streams (such as applications etc.), and mind/market share.

Shhhh!!! The DOJ is listening. ;)

Now imagine billions of Chinese, Indians, Europeans, Latin
Americans - all beholden to the MSFT O/S, experiencing Windows crashes on a regular basis... what a glorious vision for the MSFT shareholder.

Before we can count on huge intl revenues, first there's that nagging little issue of intellectual property laws that must be implemented in places like China, India, and Latin America (where arrogant and corrupt politicos shamelessly tell us to stick it and not 'interfere in their internal affairs').

Until places like these have strong IP laws, the vast majority of those billions and billions of PCs will get their Windows from the neighborhood software stand, with any profits going to the guy with the CD burner.
