Re: Q2 CC

Thread,
I was going to highlight the CC, but nothing much was said that really stood out.

It was insisted that Windown 2000 was going to be beneficial to CTXS but not until next year. Something like that? CTXS mentioned that Win 2000 has some built-in features that MetaFrame has, and said CTXS helped develop them. Yet CTXS made no connection as to why this was of benefit to CTXS. Confusing?

And it was said again, Y2K was good for CTXS. But they took about 10 sentences to say this simple statement. And never said exactly why it was good <VBG>. But all the reasons are posted upstream.

They said the web based paradigm was going to be taken advantage of by CTXS, but didn't go into details. Anymore then saying they made acquisitions for this purpose (I posted the companies upstream). My upstream post has about as much detail as from the horse's mouth.

They seemed to have quite a bit more cash than I thought they should have had. I haven't looked up the figure yet, but something around $600+ million. Lot's of cash. I thought they had said they were going to buyback $200 million worth of stock? Maybe an analyst will ask about this.

Only am half through and zoning out. Too many CCs today. If anyone else can post the last 30 minute highlights, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
